TheRealLuxury is a Slovenian marketplace offering luxury goods like Rolex watches, Hermès Birkin bags, and Louis Vuitton scarves. It also sells exclusive alcohol, furniture, jewelry, cosmetics, and other premium brand products. The client urgently needed to improve the marketplace to present the site successfully at the upcoming conference in Milan.
Solution
Simtech Development engineers moved the site to new servers, selected an optimal performance and database size plan, and installed an SSL certificate. We also connected the marketplace to 24/7 security and performance monitoring to track and resolve real-time issues. Then, to anticipate difficulties during the redesign process, our developers conducted a thorough audit of the project's logic, structure, and user journey. This audit revealed several shortcomings, including two significant issues hindering business development. When working on the design enhancement, our team adjusted the interface according to the client's preferences, making the homepage banner smaller, removing unnecessary buttons, changing fonts, and modifying the menu. Hence, all product categories were visible without scrolling. Our team also made a number of enhancements to the mobile version. Finally, our team added tools enabling store specialists to publish and change banners, articles, links, texts, headings, pictures, and product blocks without developer assistance.
