What’s AWS Cloud hosting?
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a subsidiary of Amazon.com that provides on-demand cloud computing platforms to individuals, companies, and governments, on a paid subscription basis. The technology allows subscribers to have at their disposal a full-fledged virtual cluster of computers, available all the time, through the Internet.
Being a multimillion transnational company Amazon offers its clients the best in class technologies and services. The best protection, best compatibility, best stability, best support and… the best prices.
What’s included in the Free Amazon Cloud hosting?
AWS offers 150+ services to the clients. All are grouped by the categories: computing, storage, database, security and many more.
Free plan of AWS Cloud hosting allows users to touch the wide range of provided options. It does not include all the services but enough to drop the jaw. The most significant are Amazon EC2, Amazon QuickSight, Amazon RDS, Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon CloudWatch and more. You can find the entire list of services included in the Free plan here.
Though the Free plan is available for one year only, it does not mean you will lose all the data after that period. You will be able to continue using the service but with strict limitation. Or you’ll have to upgrade.
